eStudent Graduation Status

All students expecting to qualify for an award following the release of their final results should go to their eStudent account to check their graduation status.

Step 1 - Click on "My results"

If you have qualified for an award the details will be displayed here.  If you are expecting to qualify and no award is listed contact the Academic Program Section at apsinfo@mq.edu.au immediately.

Step 2 - Click on "Check for Graduation"

Your individual ceremony allocation will be displayed here and your status will be "HOLD".

Please note that your ceremony status will not change from "HOLD" until you have returned your Conferring of Degrees Form, which will be included in your graduation invitation.

Graduation invitations for students qualifying in December will be mailed in the last week of January with a return date of 1 March.  Invitations for students qualifying in July will be mailed in late July with a return date of early September.

When you return your Conferring of Degrees Form the Graduation Unit will enter the information you have selected on the form and your status will change as detailed below.  Students who elect to attend the ceremony; status will change from "HOLD" to "CEREMONY".

Students who elect not to attend the ceremony and require their documents to be mailed by regular post, status will change from "HOLD" to "MAIL".  Documents will be mailed the week after the final ceremony in the series has concluded.  Overseas students must allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Students who return the Special Delivery Form from their information pack and elect to pay for their documents to be sent by Courier, status will change from "HOLD" to "COURIER".  Couriers are sent on the same day as your specific graduation ceremony.

Students who elect to collect their documents from the Graduation Unit, status will change from "HOLD" to "COLLECT".  Documents will be available to collect the week after the entire series of graduations has concluded.

Students who do not return their Conferring of Degrees Form will graduate in absentia.  Status will not change from "HOLD" and documents will be held at the Graduation Unit until confirmation of a current mailing address is received from the Graduate.
